I thought you were being a bit harsh here. Surely he was jesting. But I read the comment in question … and you’re right.
Boy, to interpret the perfectly delicious smell that comes from a BBQ as something wicked … talk about missing a great joy in life.

I agree. The smell alone of BBQ is why I can never become a vegetarian.
